ECOWAS Volunteers
For faster effective and efficient recruitment of ECOWAS Volunteers in line with the vision of Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS has taken steps towards setting up a volunteer program to cut across all areas of activities of the ECOWAS Commission and its sister institute.
Therefore, ECOWAS Volunteers are a group of young dynamic men and women [18-35 years] from ECOWAS countries with the capacity to adapt to different society, cultural and political circumstances. They would be deployed in selected community based association National and International Non- Governmental organization and specialized agencies that are active in socio economic, cultural and political humanitarian work.
The volunteer will help consolidate peace, recovery national recognition and rehabilitation in crisis affected communities.
ACOVID-19 Volunteers
Our experts in security and medical are continually reviewing our ability to implement proper safety during the Covid- 19 pandemic.
Their expertise of any relevant national government and international level advice is guiding.
Our decisions regarding all travel both internally and internationally.
Many local restrictions are being implemented in several APRCN locations which impact our existing program delivery as we continue to build a talent pool of prospective professional volunteers so we can get back to supporting communities a soon as we are able.
Salary for APRCN Volunteers
Generally, the volunteer of APRCN and its partners preside a volunteer allowances to sustain a basic and adequate and safe life style. The allowances vary from location to amenities depending on living cost.

E-Learning for All Volunteers
To avoid the case of sexual exploitation and abuse, we advise to all policies procedures and training as mandatory for all volunteers to be taken pre-deployment, it would be designed to raise awareness of the location, culture and policies and further understand the impact of the victim.
